We’re not your typical front desk job. At Alpenglow Expeditions, the mountains are our office, and our mission is connecting people to the outdoors through meaningful, professionally guided experiences. From the thrill of climbing the Tahoe Via Ferrata to the challenge of local rock routes, we give people the chance to push their limits—and we need someone at the front lines who can help make it all happen.

We’re currently hiring for a Front Desk Staff position at our Olympic Valley headquarters. Whether you’re a climber, an outdoor enthusiast, or just someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with rad people, this role puts you in the middle of the action.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the first face our clients see when they walk in the door—and the friendly voice on the phone when they’re booking their next adventure. You’ll:

  • Greet and check in clients for Via Ferrata tours and local programs
  • Help guests book their trips by phone, email, or in person
  • Manage logistics like guide scheduling and event support
  • Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
  • Create and schedule social media content to help tell the story of what we do

What We’re Looking For

This role is for someone who’s organized, adaptable, and enjoys talking to people. If you’re tech-savvy, calm under pressure, and can juggle a handful of tasks at once, you’ll thrive here. Experience with social media, customer service, or climbing? Even better.

Schedule

This is a summer seasonal position with weekend availability required. Part-time hours with room to grow into full-time.
