Lake Tahoe and the Eastern Sierra are home to some of the most incredible backcountry ski-touring terrain on the planet, and our ski guides know it like the back of their hands. Our California backcountry program is built so that you can make the most of your ski day, being guided to the best zones by one of our certified, professional ski guides.

Private Ski Guiding in Lake Tahoe
Privately guided days consist of just you, your hand-picked group, and your ski guide. With this arrangement, you’re able to call the shots helping to shape the day with your guide as you see fit. The goals and outcome of a day out with our guides is customized to your group.
Depending on fitness level, technical ability and daily conditions skiers and riders can expect to get multiple laps of fresh tracks in the backcountry. Terrain varies from wide open bowls and widely spaced trees to steep, technical lines that will challenge even the most seasoned skier.
Palisades Tahoe Backcountry Tours
Ski and ride outside the ski area boundaries of Lake Tahoe’s premier resort. Riding the lifts means less time hiking and more time skiing and riding this incredible backcountry terrain. We have exclusive access to some of the coolest terrain in Tahoe, including the National Geographic Bowl outside of Granite Chief.
The lift access, untouched powder stashes, and zero crowding makes this one of our most popular winter adventures. The terrain is truly one of Tahoes hidden gems, and it’s just for us.
