Alpamayo Team at High Camp

Chad called and said the team is at High Camp. They awoke last night to cold temperatures and higher winds than they wanted, so they opted out of a summit bid last night. They hiked over toward Quitaraju to check things out instead. Weather is looking better and they are going for the Alpamayo summit tonight. We are cheering them on from here in Squaw Valley.
