The Well Being of Women of team checked in last night with an update of their last couple of days. Their first day of trekking took them up to Simba Camp at 2600m. Yesterday, they had a beautiful day of hiking (about 6 hours), leaving the humid forest behind, exploring caves along the way by headlamp, and experiencing their first stunning sunset on the mountain, which was enhanced by DJ Lora’s first music session. They spent the night at Kikelewa Camp (3600m) and have a shorter day of hiking today as they make their way to Kibo Camp. The team is all performing phenomenally well and we’ll hear more as they proceed onward and upward. Nice job, ladies!
