Position Overview

This is a full-time, in-house role based in Olympic Valley, ideal for a marketing professional ready to take the next step in their career. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation, an eye for great storytelling, and the drive to grow into a leadership position.

You’ll work closely with our founder, General Manager, and other internal teams to plan and execute marketing initiatives that tell Alpenglow’s story from Tahoe to Everest. This is a dynamic, hands-on position where creative ideas meet real-world results.

Core Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with leadership, the GM and our in-house staff to plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, community, and partner channels.
  • Content & Storytelling: Guide messaging, tone, and visual direction while ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Digital Marketing & Analytics: Execute digital campaigns and analyze performance data (Google Analytics, Meta, GA4) to drive reach and conversions.
  • Website Management: Maintain and enhance our WordPress website, keeping design and content aligned with brand standards.
  • Community & Partner Marketing: Collaborate with key partners (Palisades Tahoe, Black Diamond, and others) on co-marketing efforts, events, and in-person activations in San Francisco and other key markets.
  • Influencer & Ambassador Marketing: Identify and manage relationships with creators and athletes who embody our brand.
  • Campaign Planning: Coordinate seasonal and product campaigns that align with guiding seasons and growth goals.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure every visual, word, and interaction represents the professionalism and heart of Alpenglow Expeditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally in outdoor, adventure travel, or hospitality industries.
  • Proven experience managing digital campaigns and interpreting analytics.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
    Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to balance creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making.
  • Passion for mountain sports — climbing, skiing, trekking — and understanding of the guiding culture.

Compensation & Growth

  • Salary: $55,000–$70,000 DOE
  • Status: Full-time, in-house position (not remote).
