The guys checked in this morning from Camp 2 after putting in a huge effort fixing up to 24,500′. They encountered breakable crust, knee deep snow, and low visibility, but their day left them feeling good about the conditions. Although they’re a little low on Sherpa support for fixing the rest of the mountain, the weather forecast is excellent and everyone seems to be feeling great. Their summit push will begin in a few hours at 2am (Nepal time). We’ll let you know when we hear from them upon their return to ABC!
