Manaslu Summit

Two mountaineers navigating a glacier on a Gasherbrum II Expedition

On October 2, Adrian, 4 Sherpa and 4 clients reached the summit of Manaslu. Adrian reiterated how impressed he was with the two Sherpa that broke trail and set the route up to the summit, not to mention the four clients that mustered up the strength to reach the summit after almost two weeks tent bound. It is a happy day for everyone. When I spoke to Adrian he said that 60 people were going for the summit tomorrow now that the route has been set. He was exhausted and so excited. They are sleeping at Camp 2 tonight and then head down to Basecamp tomorrow. Then they head out the next day– hopefully they were able to get the helicopters fixed. More soon!
