Alpenglow’s Well Being of Women team received a healthy dose of real mountain weather last night in the form of wind. Tents blew around through the night at Mwenzi Tarn (14,000′), but they awoke to a beautiful day and hiked 4.5 hours to Kibo hut. Some in the group are beginning to feel the normal affects of altitude at 15,400′, but they all remain healthy and strong. They will take a rest day at Kibo with a mellow acclimatization hike and will head out for their summit bid tomorrow night! Stay tuned…
