With extremely accessible on-mountain huts to serve as basecamps, the country’s diverse mountain landscapes provide the perfect setting for beginners to hone their skills and discover the joys of climbing.
Led by a combined team of our local and international certified guides with extensive experience in both mountaineering and instruction, the Ecuador Climbing School provides a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the needs of novice climbers. Participants learn essential techniques such as rope management, crampon use, and glacier travel, gaining the confidence and knowledge on how to climb mountains like Cayambe, Antisana, Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo, all peaks in the high 5000-meter and 6000-meter range.
